1. Overview
At Woodstock Parts, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains when and how returns, refunds, and cancellations may apply to orders placed through partsforus.com. We comply with applicable U.S. consumer protection laws and ensure our return and refund procedures are fair, transparent, and clearly disclosed before purchase.
2. Return Eligibility
You may request a return within 30 calendar days after receiving your order. To qualify for a return:
- The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition you received it.
- You must include a copy of your packing slip or proof of purchase.
- Returns must be pre-approved by our team before being shipped back.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are not eligible for return, including:
- Custom-built, special-order, or non-stock items.
- Electrical components that have been installed or connected.
- Items marked “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” at time of purchase.
If an item is defective or incorrect due to our error, this exclusion does not apply — see Section 6 below.
4. Return Authorization Process
To initiate a return, please email sales@woodstockpower.com with the subject line “Order # [Your Order Number] – Return Request.” Include the following in your email:
- Order number
- Item(s) you’d like to return
- Reason for return (with photo if applicable)
Once approved, you will receive return instructions and a Return Authorization (RA) number. You must ship the item back within 10 business days of approval.
5. Restocking Fees
Returns may be subject to a 25-30% restocking fee. This covers inspection, repackaging, and administrative costs. Restocking fees do not apply to damaged, or incorrect items.
6. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery so we can evaluate the issue. Please keep the original packaging and provide photos of the issue to help us process your request quickly.
7. Return Shipping Costs
- For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, Woodstock Parts will cover return shipping costs and provide shipping instructions.
8. Refunds
After we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the approval or denial of your refund. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Refund amounts may be adjusted if:
- The returned item shows signs of installation or damage not present at delivery, or
- Accessories, manuals, or original packaging are missing.
For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, you’ll always receive a full refund (no restocking fee or deductions).
9. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled at no charge before the item ships. Once an order has shipped, it can only be cancelled by following the standard return process after delivery.
10. Exchange Policy
We currently do not process direct exchanges. If you need a different item, please initiate a return and place a new order.
